The suggester said: "Banned by ~Scorpion81 might use the old dA symbols, but you can still admire the artist for their very careful eye for details in this. The smoothness of the various movements, some nice anti-aliasing with the symbols, and the wonderfully done expressions are just a few. Overall, a very nicely done emote."

I really love this emote! It's captured the idea and spirit of the contest theme brilliantly.

First off, the emotes have brilliant expressions, particularly the one on the right, it's eyebrows have been used to great effect to really emphasis the frustration and almost boredom of banning rude deviants. The eyebrows have been used in a similar way on the red emote, but I feel that the expression is tiny bit strange before the eyebrows move down after being banned, maybe because of the combination of 'wide open' white eyes and the eyebrow being heavy, although I am not sure what to over in relation to improving this aspect, and it is somewhat minor anyway.

The colours themselves are nice, as `Droneguard said below in the comments, red is not an easy colour to use for an emote and you've done well to shade smoothly but with both sets of highlights included. The two colours themselves contrast nicely also bring back a hint of red for anger and blue for calm that is often associated with the colours.

My favourite parts are the delicate and precise details of the symbols, I like the slightly transparent edges to the $ symbol and the idea of zapping the ~ into a ! . It is this part of the piece I feel has the most potential for improvement, with the pauses between each stage of the long white beam, the symbol disappearing and the ! appearing, becoming a little too long (less frames or quicker frame rates could be an easy option for that little area, since the flashing ~ part is still ok, it's just that very little part where is is struck by the beam that seems a little drawn out). It's also really nice how there is a simple hopping motion for the emote that leaves and that wonderful sweeping motion of the emotes returning to their original positions (i love that extra frame of moving back in the other direction to create a realistic speedy effect!)

Overall, a wonderfully successful emote with plenty of good emoting and pixelling skills apparent! Well done <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="20" height="20" alt="" title="Clap"/>
